Landrace pig
Characteristics: - The whole body is pure white, the head is small, long, the ears are big and drooping down, the ears are pulled forward, the neck is small and long, the shoulders-back-butt-thighs are well developed, the buttocks are big, the muzzle is straight, Long body, broad buttocks, and solid physical appearance. The whole body has a pointed diamond shape, because they have 1-2 pairs of ribs more than other pigs, so the body is very long. - Number of children born / litter: 10-12 children Weight of newborn piglets: 1.2-1.3 kg / head - Adult boars: 270-300 kg / head - Adult female pigs: 200-230 kg / head - Pigs start to breed at 7-8 months when their weight is over 120 kg - Each year gives birth from 2.0 to 2.2 times - Landrace pigs are less adaptive than Yorkshire pigs in hot and humid tropical conditions.
